It was the dream final for most tennis fans which pitted the two best players in the world against each other. However, ultimately Alcaraz proved too strong for his Italian opponent with a serving masterclass and won the match 6-2 3-6 6-1 6-4. He is now the youngest man since Bjorn Borg to win six majors at the age of 22.
Sinner & Alcaraz have again collected all four Grand Slams in 2025 cementing their dominance in the sport.
