Draper kept his Indian Wells title defence alive with a thrilling three-set victory over the Serb 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-5). The match was decided on a scintillating tie-break and will give Draper great confidence heading into the last eight.
The pair last played in the first round of ويمبلدون in 2021 when Draper secured a wildcard to enter the Championships. Amazingly the Brit won the first set before Djokovic turned things around and won the match in 4 sets.
The 24-year-old will now face Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-finals on Thursday. His compatriot Cameron Norrie will also face World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz on the same night.
