Tommy Paul beats Lorenzo Musetti to win the Queen’s Club Championships

American Tommy Paul proved too strong for Lorenzo Musetti in the final at the Queen’s Club to win the title 6-1 7-6. He is the first American winner of the tournament since Sam Querrey in 2010 and his victory has propelled him to the US No.1.

The Queen’s Club Championships is a prestigious pre-Wimbledon event and past winners include, John McEnroe, Andy Murray & Carlos Alcaraz. Alcaraz was the defending champion coming into the tournament after capturing his maiden French Open a few weeks ago. However, he was shocked by Britain’s Jack Draper.

The young Spaniard defends his Wimbledon crown which begins on Monday 1st July. The Championships are the most prestigious tennis tournament in the world.
