Changes to the Wimbledon Championships 2025

Ahead of the 2025 Wimbledon Championships, the All England Lawn Tennis Club have announced some changes to the finals weekend schedule. There has been a provisional adjustment to Days 13 & 14 reflecting the following changes:

Saturday 12th July (Day 13)

1pm      –              Gentleman’s Doubles Final

4pm      –              Ladies’ Singles Final

Sunday 13th July (Day 14)

1pm      –              Ladies’ Doubles Final

4pm      –              Gentleman’s Singles Final

Live Electronic Line Calling

Live Electronic Line Calling (Live ELC) will be introduced at the 2025 Championships. The technology will be in place for all courts at the tournament for ‘out’ & ‘fault’ calls that were previously made by umpires.

This will be the first time the technology has been used in such a widespread manner and organisers will hope it will contribute to the accuracy in the officiating at Wimbledon.

Record number of Ballot applications

Since 1924 the Wimbledon Public Ballot has been a popular avenue for fans across the world seeking for tickets to watch the Wimbledon Championships. The applications for 2025 reached a record number and the lucky individuals will be notified in the coming months.
