Novak Djokovic ruthlessly dispatched Lorenzo Musetti in straight sets to reach the quarter finals of the Miami Open. After a rain delay in the opening set Djokovic dominated the match to win the contest 6-2 6-2.

The victory was Djokovic’s best performance since the Australian Open in January. The 24-time Grand Slam Champion was in total control of the match winning nine consecutive games. He was watched on by a star-studied crowd which includes Martin del Potro & Serena Williams.

In the previous round the Serb clocked up his 411th ATP Masters victory. This moved him ahead of Rafael Nadal in the all-time rankings.

Djokovic will head into the last eight chasing a record seventh Miami Open title. He is also bidding to win his first Masters 1000 since Paris in 2023.
