British No.1 Jack Draper fought back from losing the first set to beat Novak Djokovic for the first time in his career at Indian Wells.
Draper kept his Indian Wells title defence alive with a thrilling three-set victory over the Serb 4-6 6-4 7-6 (7-5). The match was decided on a scintillating tie-break and will give Draper great confidence heading into the last eight.
The pair last played in the first round of Wimbledon in 2021 when Draper secured a wildcard to enter the Championships. Amazingly the Brit won the first set before Djokovic turned things around and won the match in 4 sets.
The 24-year-old will now face Daniil Medvedev in the quarter-finals on Thursday. His compatriot Cameron Norrie will also face World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz on the same night.
