British No.1 Jack Draper suffered a three sets defeat to Russia’s Andrey Rublev in the Qatar Open Final.

After losing the opening set Draper battled back to level the match but was eventually beaten 7-5 5-7 6-1. Both players were visibly tired after a demanding tournament with Rublev claiming the title for a second time.

Despite the loss Draper will be elevated to a career high of 12th place in the latest world rankings.
