The Monte Carlo Masters has begun in the south of France which signals the start of the clay court season. The prestigious event is an ATP 1000 tournament and will host a number of the top players in the world.

Britain’s Jack Draper will be hoping to capitalise on his Indian Wells triumph last month. Wimbledon Champion Carlos Alcaraz will also be among the favourites as he seeks to improve on a stuttering season so far.

Former World No.1 Novak Djokovic will be eying the crown as he approaches his 38th birthday. The Serb is undoubtably past his best but is still a match for any player on the tour.

The field in Monte Carlo is very strong and includes 17 of the world’s top 20 players.
