Emma Raducanu dismantled American Amanda Anisimova in straight sets to reach the quarter-finals of the Miami Open. The British No.2 won the first set in a blistering 24 minutes before securing the victory 6-1 6-3.
It is the first time Raducanu has won four WTA main-draw matches in a row since her US Open triumph in 2021. She has managed to find some promising form in Florida after losing five of six matches in a row coming into the tournament.
Raducanu will now play world No.4 Jessica Pegula for a place in the semi-finals.
Elsewhere, world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka beat defending champion Danielle Collins to book her place in the quarter-finals. There were also victories for Iga Swiatek & Jamine Paolini to provide a strong field in the final stages of the tournament.
