Jack Draper won the biggest title of his career on Sunday at Indian Wells. The British No.1 dominated Denmark’s Holger Rune in the final to secure a straight sets victory 6-2 6-2.
It was the 23-year-old’s first trophy at an ATP Masters event, which is only one tier below the four Grand Slam tournaments.
The win capped off a ‘coming of age’ week for the Draper who dispatched Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals. He will now rise to number seven in the world rankings.
