It was tight match and Zverev played with confidence and determination in his bid to win his maiden Grand Slam. However, the Sinner proved why he is the best player in the world right now by wearing down his opponent.
A start-studied crowd on Centre Court, including the Prince & Princess of Wales were treated to four high quality sets of Championship tennis.
The final Grand Slam of year will start in New York next month at the US Open. It remains to be seen if Carlos Alcaraz will be fit enough to defend his title at Flushing Meadows.
