Nick Kyrgios Loses at Home

On home soil, Australian Nick Kyrgios ended his first round of the Brisbane International in defeat following his win from the Battle of the Sexes exhibition match which took place last month against Aryna Sabalenka, the current Women’s World Number One.

For Kyrgios this is following multiple serious injuries and surgeries over the last few years. However, his hopes for a wild card for being able to play in the Australian Open have not diminished which is set to begin on 18^th January.
