Ruthless Draper wins Indian Wells Open

Jack Draper won the biggest title of his career on Sunday at Indian Wells. The British No.1 dominated Denmark’s Holger Rune in the final to secure a straight sets victory 6-2 6-2.

It was the 23-year-old’s first trophy at an ATP Masters event, which is only one tier below the four Grand Slam tournaments.

The win capped off a ‘coming of age’ week for the Draper who dispatched วิมเบิลดัน champion Carlos Alcaraz in the semi-finals. He will now rise to number seven in the world rankings.
