The Biggest Australian Open Prize Fund

This year’s Australian Open is set to give out the biggest prize pot in its history. The record prize port will be £55 million. This is being offered as commitment by Tennis Australia to players across the tournament at whatever level they may play at.

However, this has stirred controversy amongst the top players citing this is not enough and request a higher ratio of the proposed prize fund, as well as organisations such as Tennis Australia have been largely ignoring the requests of the players.

This is the first major tournament of the season, with the Wimbledon 2026 Championship later this year with tickets available now.
