What are Wimbledon Debenture tickets?

The All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) issues Centre Court and No.1 Court Wimbledon Debentures to raise funds for capital expenditure. For example, the construction work on the Centre & No.1 Court roofs was financed this way, ensuring uninterrupted play throughout the Championships. The Debenture seats are situated in the best locations on both courts and offer the finest views. There are no restrictions in buying and selling Wimbledon Debenture tickets, unlike Wimbledon public ballot tickets which are non-transferable. A series of Centre Court ‘Debentures’ are issued every five years by the AELTC. In return for a nominal loan and a premium, holders of Wimbledon debentures are entitled to an excellent seat on Centre or No.1 Court (in the lower rows of the Middle Tier), for each day of the Championships, for five years (the duration of the series).

Are Wimbledon Debenture tickets situated together in groups?

Most Debenture holders only own two debentures (a pair), although a few do hold more. As such, if you order four tickets, then expect them to be supplied as two pairs. Due to the volume of tickets we handle, we will always endeavour to sit larger bookings within a similar area of the court, but this cannot be guaranteed. We do have access to some of the largest groupings on Centre Court and if you require your seats together then we encourage you to speak with one of our specialists.

Are there any additional costs to pay?

Please rest assured that the prices quoted are per person. Our package arrangements include a ticket for your chosen court and a Travel Pass, and the prices are fully inclusive of all taxes.

When will I receive my Wimbledon Debenture tickets?

Subject to receipt by us of full payment, we will endeavour to send your Wimbledon Debenture tickets to you no later than 7-10 days before the day you are attending Wimbledon, in many instances it will be in advance of this.

How are my tickets sent to me?

Tickets will be issued in digital format. You will be sent instructions on how to register an account and download the “MyWimbledon” App in order to take receipt of the tickets on your smartphone.

Can I request exact seat locations?

Holders of Wimbledon debentures do not purchase rights to specific seats in Centre Court or No.1 Court. They have only purchased the ‘right’ to be guaranteed seats within the exclusive Debenture area (the lower rows of the Middle Tier). The seats are randomly allocated to Debenture holders each year by the AELTC, the Debenture holders do not receive the same seats each year. As such, the Debenture holders only discover their exact seat numbers when they receive their tickets in late May/early June. We, therefore, cannot guarantee in advance specific seat locations. You can, however, request certain blocks and, due to the volume of tickets that we handle, we will endeavour to satisfy your request.

Can I book a single Wimbledon ticket or an odd number of Wimbledon tickets?

Wimbledon Debenture Tickets are invariably only available in pairs; therefore, we only usually consider orders of ‘even’ numbers of tickets. Please do not hesitate to contact us however should you wish to book a ‘single’ or ‘odd’ number of tickets.

What is your policy on refunds or cancellations?

In accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Booking, all sales are final, and no refunds can be considered in the event of cancellation. We will, however, try to mitigate your losses by attempting to resell tickets (if our ticket stock is sold out for that day), subject to an administrative charge.

Do you sell ground passes or any other type of Wimbledon seats?

We only sell Wimbledon Debenture tickets for Centre Court and No.1 Court since these are the only tickets that are legally transferrable for The Championship. For information on Public Ballot tickets, LTA Ballot tickets, ground passes, queuing on the day, and other entrance tickets to Wimbledon, please refer to the official Wimbledon website: www.wimbledon.org/tickets.
