Raducanu reaches Quarter Finals at Eastbourne

Emma Raducanu recorded her first ever victory against a top-10 ranked player to reach the Quarter Finals at Eastbourne. The former US Open Champion beat Jessica Pegula 4-6 7-6 7-5 in extremely hot conditions.

After losing the opening set, Raducanu showed determination to comeback and beat her American opponent. Pegula had won the Berlin WTA event last week but was eventually out-battled by the Brit.

Raducanu will now play sixth seed Daria Kasatkina for a place in the semi-finals. She will be hoping to build on her confidence ahead of the Wimbledon Championships which starts on Monday 1st July.
