Build up to a Blockbuster Semi-Final at the French Open!

Canada beat Australia in the final of the Davis Cup in Malaga to win the event for the first time in their history. They got off to a strong start as Denis Shapovalov beat Thanasi Kokkinakis in straight sets 6-2 6-4.

The eyes of the tennis world will be fixed firmly on the Philippe-Chatrier court at Roland Garros tonight in Paris as two all-time greats battle it out for a place in the French Open final 2021. World No 1 Novak Djokovic will play 13-time champion Rafael Nadal in one of the most highly anticipated matches of the year so far.

Nadal will be the favourite to prevail on his favourite clay-court surface but will face a stern test against Djokovic who has been at his imperious best in recent months culminating in his victory at the Australian Open in February. In fact, Djokovic possesses a slight advantage over the Spaniard in terms of their overall head-to-head matches with the score currently 29-28 in favour of the World No 1.

It is likely to be a match full the highest quality tennis between two of the best players the sport has ever produced.
