The world’s two top players have confirmed they will be representing their respective countries at the season-opening ATP Cup next month. The tournament will be played exclusively at Melbourne Park amid COVID-19 restrictions. The tournament will involve 12 teams from the countries who have qualified and is divided into four groups. Each country is represented by their highest ranked player and the draw for the event with take place on January 20th. Great Britain managed to reach the quarter-finals in 2020 but have not qualified for this year’s tournament.
