Late replacement Harriet Dart sealed a 3-1 win for Great Britain in their Billie Jean King Cup play-off against Sweden on Sunday. Dart beat Caijsa Hennemann 7-5 6-2 and thrived in front of a partisan home crowd.
British number one Katie Boulter had put GB in a strong position earlier in the day beating Kajsa Rinaldo Persson 6-1 7-6 (7-5). However, Dart still had to beat Hennemann to secure the victory.
Great Britain’s victory at the Copper Box Arena means they have booked their place in the qualifying round for the 2024 finals.
