Wimbledon 2021 Championships UPDATE

Following the government’s announcement outlining the ‘roadmap’ out of the Pandemic, The AELTC have released a statement providing an update on the status of the 2021 Championships. It confirms that the organisers remain optimistic for crowds to return to SW19 in the summer and includes the following;

‘The AELTC is committed to staging The Championships from 28^th June to 11^th July and, should we be able to stage the event with either a full or reduced capacity, to ensuring that all debenture holders can attend.’

It is another positive step in the right direction as we move forward into the Spring and Summer months, when we will hopefully see a return to the famous grass court atmosphere at Wimbledon 2021.
