Team World will defend their Laver Cup crown again against their European counterparts in Berlin this weekend.
John McEnroe’s Team World has won back -to-back versions of the unique team competition. Bjorn Borg’s European side will be hoping to regain the title on home soil.
Wimbledon Champion Carlos Alcaraz will be making his Laver Cup debut after already winning two Grand Slams this year. He will be joined by other top European players, including Alexander Zverev & Daniil Medvedev.
Team World’s line-up includes US Open finalist Taylor Fritz and fellow American Frances Tiafoe.
There has been a total of 6 editions of the competition since it was formed in 2017. Team Europe currently lead Team World 6-4. Last year’s event in Vancouver was extremely one-sided as John McEnroe’s men beat the Europeans 13-2 over the course of the weekend.
